Sustainable Horticulture

Welcome to sustainablehorticulture.co.uk !  Here you will find information on all the courses we offer, as well as progression pathways, schedules, articles about Horticulture and new thinking about UK Sustainability Policy. As well as  all this we hope to give you articles about the importance of Horticultural Education, Environmental Conservation and Enterprise Education for Schools.

You can request to register for any course through our online form. We run courses from either The St John of God Horticultural Training Centre in Welwyn Garden City, from our Sustainable Horticulture, Ecology and Conservation (SHEC) Centre (lovingly called the SHEC shack by our learners) in Hemel Hempstead or from Church Farm, Ardeley, Nr Stevenage.

Progression Pathways will show you how you could take your studies from level 1 (first year of GCSE's) to Level 7 (MSc) all in Sustainable Horticulture and Food Security will tell you exactly why this work is so important.

Please don't hesitate to contact someone on our training team should you have any questions.
